The new RB1100AHx4 Dude Edition features an Annapurna Alpine AL21400 CPU with four Cortex A15 cores clocked at 1.4GHz, achieving up to 7.5Gbps throughput. It supports IPsec hardware acceleration and delivers speeds up to 2.2Gbps with AES128 encryption—making it the fastest RouterBOARD model for encryption tasks.

Housed in a 1U rackmount case, it includes 13x Gigabit Ethernet ports, an RS232 serial port, and dual redundant power supplies with -48V DC telecom power and 802.3at/af PoE support. This edition also features high-speed storage options, including two SATA and two M.2 slots, and comes with a 60GB M.2 drive installed for use with the Dude database, proxy cache, or other storage-heavy applications.
